I recently had a conversation with an artist friend of mine who was changing direction in his career. It made me think about the New Testament when Jesus said, ”The measure you give will be the measure you receive only more so.”  Helping others fulfill their dreams brings me great joy.  And, it’s one of the main reasons I started Party on the Moon and National Party Bands (NPB) with my partner Ed Duncan years ago.

When we launched almost 10 years ago , our goal was to create bands with national-caliber talent who would perform for the social and corporate market worldwide. We wanted to create an environment where musicians could be part of something special, be paid to do what they love and reach for their best as individuals and as a group.

Back then I had no idea that today we would have a NPB organization with over 100 musicians who work to deliver the best quality shows to the world.  [These musicians include our recently added eighth act, but please stay tuned to my blog to learn more about that!]

I am proud that each one of our bands provides nonstop shows, award-winning talent, great costumes and choreography, state-of-the-art sound and lighting, customized song list and unparalleled customer service.  And to ensure we stay this course and improve every show, we all work hard at weekly rehearsals in our NPB studio in downtown Atlanta.

I am also proud that we are helping our bandleaders and band members build their dreams. I recently heard this quote, “If you want to get there fast go alone, if you want to go far go together.” I’m very lucky to have Ed Duncan who helped me create my dream and equally lucky to have artists around me with dreams whom I can help.

Dream on.
