In Napoleon Hill’s famous book “Think and Grow Rich,” he talks about The Master Mind group. He describes the group as two or more people working together for the same goal in a sprit of harmony. This had a profound impact on me when I put Party on the Moon together. I knew to be successful I had to have a great team. So, after my partner Ed Duncan and I decided to launch the band, we brought in Dalton Marketing Group.

We knew we had a great product.  And, with Ellen Dalton and her team, we set our sites on becoming the premier special event band in the country.  In our weekly meeting, we discussed the best way to market the band and specific vehicles such as video, website, photos, trailer wrap, email promotion and more.

You can have a great product or service, but your customers need to know about you and what you have to offer. It has been my experience that most business doesn’t spend enough resources on promotion. And many times when they do, they do it themselves in an effort to save money. Your promotional materials are one of the most important investments you’ll make in your business. As my partner Ed Duncan would say, “Do it right or don’t do it at all.”

The success we have achieved in Party on the Moon is due in large part to the great team we have around us who specialize in what they do. Our sales team, video and photography team, bus driver, and band members all contribute to our success.

If you’re serious about success, you’re going to need a strong team around you. And let the world know what you’re doing.
