We can say with certainty that every wedding event we perform at is magical in its own way. Each has its own vibe, spirit and feel. One union, in particular, that left a lasting impression on us was the wedding of Def Jam Recording Executive Brittany Kazinec and her husband Adam Kazinec. Their wedding was nothing short of spectacular and had an amazing energy and feeling of love to it. So, in the midst of primetime wedding season, we thought we’d pause and share a few highlights.

Our band, Jessie’s Girls, performed at this wedding and they sure did pull out all the stops from providing a musical backdrop for the ceremony itself to keeping guests on the dance floor all night long. A few words from Jessie’s Girls Vocalist Meghan Shanley.

“Brittany and Adam’s song selections were very specific and out of the box which I loved! A few of their selections were not in our repertoire, so we had some fun learning them. Brittany walked down the aisle to “I Get To Love You” by Ruelle, which is such a beautiful ballad and perfect wedding song. Our band leader, Dae Tuzo, and I recorded the song ahead of time so Brittany could hear it and plan her timing. Everything was just perfect. It was truly an honor to share the gift of music on their special day and the start of their new life together.”

Meghan continued, “We also learned “Never Stop” by SafetySuite for the couple’s first dance. And, the couple chose “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran for their grandparents. So very sweet.”

The Rabbi who married the couple, Rabii Mark Gellman, was amazing! You may have seen him in the past on his television show “God Squad” or on Good Morning America, or you may have read his column on religion in Newsday. A special treat for all.

From an event perspective, every single detail was perfect, thanks to the couple’s planner, Helene Popowski, one of the most well-respected event planning professionals in the country. The venue was especially noteworthy…the event took place at Flourish Atlanta, a stunning special events venue exclusively operated by Legendary Events and CEO Tony Conway.

The couple’s 168 guests included recording industry agents from all over the country and we were told that Jessie’s Girls blew them away! We are honored to share some excerpts from Brittany’s thank you note to Jessie’s Girls. Her note says it all.

“Dae!! WHAT A NIGHT!!! You guys blew me away. Not to say that I didn’t think you guys were going to be great, but you all just really KILLED IT. Everyone is still talking about you guys. I’m excited to see who of my friends hire you next.

From start to finish though….  People commented on how beautiful the music was while finding their seats at the ceremony, to the actual ceremony songs (which played a huge part in making me cry during my walk down the aisle), to cocktail hour, to hearing our first dance song before anyone else to then just OWNING the night! Each band member is hotter than the next between the looks, the killer dance moves and the million dollar contract voices… everything was perfect! You made this night more special than I ever could have imagined…each and every one of you.

Thank thank, thank you!! A million times thank you for just being you, doing your thing and being the most incredible band I’ve ever seen…more entertaining than half the bands I’ve worked with and signed to labels lol!

Wishing you guys all the best in your future – don’t ever change!!! WE LOVE YOU GUYS!

All the best,

Britt and Adam Kazinec!!!”

Now that’s one wedding to remember!
